DO NOT USE A WASHING OR DRYING MACHINE. ONLY HAND WASH. DO NOT IRON.
In order to keep your alpaca garment as new wash it only by hand. Fill a container with cold water and immerse it carefully. Use a neutral detergent or baby shampoo. The neutral formula of a mild detergent will maintain the appearance, softness and original color and pigments of delicate fibers. Wash it without rubbing strongly.
It is important to remove excess water from the garment without twisting its fibers. Never wring. You can stretch it on a towel and roll it carefully. Always dry it in the shade and horizontally, never hang it wet or without removing any water excess as it might lose its original shape. Let it dry keeping it away from direct sunlight.
